A hundred years ago, some of the best roads in the world were paved with asphalt blocks — durable enough that a few are still in service today. Faster, cheaper flexible pavement pushed them aside, and the idea was largely forgotten. We think it was forgotten too soon.
BlackTop Enduro™ isn't a backyard experiment. It's the subject of a $900,000 applied-research project — $450,000 of it funded by Emissions Reduction Alberta — carried out with a first-of-its-kind consortium of three Alberta polytechnics.

Lifetime emissions measured against the concrete pavers our product is built to displace.
This is our manufacturing building, going up now near Strathmore. With the structure up, we're bringing in power and laying the floor — then production begins. We're a real, working operation putting real money in the ground, not a concept on a website.
Before we sell a single driveway, our first production run goes into our own factory floor — under forklifts, loaded pallets, and daily plant traffic. It's the toughest test we could put these blocks through, and it's the reason we won't manufacture for sale until that floor is down and proven.
If we'll stake our own plant on these blocks, you can stake your driveway on them. That floor is our first reference project — and you'll see it before your driveway is ever made.
Modern materials and modern manufacturing let us build the asphalt block the way it always should have been: 100% recycled, engineered for load, locked at the edge, and built for a long service life. We're a Calgary company making an industrial-grade segmental pavement right here — and BlackTop Enduro is our driveway-ready product line.
Every block is 100% recycled — a blend of two reclaimed materials. Asphalt shingle, which mostly ends up in landfill, gets a second life. And reclaimed asphalt pavement, which is normally downcycled into low-value gravel, is upcycled back into high-value pavement. The result: lower greenhouse-gas emissions than hot-mix asphalt, far lower GHGs than concrete pavers, waste kept out of the landfill, and money kept in the local economy.
