The system

Three parts.
One driveway
that lasts.

BlackTop Enduro™ isn't just a block — it's a system: the engineered block, the edge restraint that holds it, and a mechanized install method that makes large driveways affordable.

Part 01

The block — engineered for load.

Dense, industrial-grade blocks made entirely from recycled asphalt — a blend of reclaimed asphalt pavement and asphalt shingle — manufactured in Alberta. Lower greenhouse-gas emissions to manufacture than hot-mix asphalt, and considerably lower than concrete pavers.

Part 02 — the breakthrough

The edge restraint.

Segmental pavement lives or dies at the edge. Without support, blocks creep and spread under load — which is why ordinary pavers struggle on curbless acreage driveways. Our engineered edge restraint pins the entire perimeter, holding a crisp, stable edge under loaded trucks and trailers for the life of the driveway. This is what makes block paving a serious option out here. And it shrugs off snowplow scraping and road salt — the same toughness proven on Canadian streets for over 40 years.

Part 03

Mechanized installation — fast, and that's the point.

These blocks are built to be placed by mechanized clamp, not by hand — hundreds of square metres a day. On a driveway-sized job, that's the difference between an affordable surface and a labour bill that dwarfs the materials cost. It's also what lets BlackTop Enduro compete with asphalt on installed cost.

A mechanized paver clamp in action — the same method we use to lay hundreds of square metres a day.

Install the blocks yourself, hire any qualified installer, or ask us to arrange a separate installation quote — entirely optional, never a condition of buying the blocks.

Built to interlock

One pattern for heavy traffic:
90° herringbone.

A backyard patio can be laid in any of a dozen patterns. A driveway that carries trucks and trailers cannot. Under heavy load, only one laying pattern delivers true horizontal interlock — herringbone — so the surface behaves as one locked field instead of loose, independent blocks. We build in 90° herringbone: the strongest interlock, and the cleanest, most repeatable install.

And when something needs fixing

A driveway you can take apart
and put back together.

Because it's a system of individual blocks, any section can be lifted, the subgrade or a buried utility serviced, and the same blocks reinstated. No saw-cutting, no patching, no repave.

Build it once. Build it right.
